Turnaround 11 - the final exhibition of the series

I co-curated Turnaround: 11 exhibitions in 12 weeks (extended to 13 weeks). What a mad thing to do. A new exhibition opened every Saturday with an evening party the following Thursday. This is the last one! April 21st - May 4th The final exhibition is a group of 15 artists: Julie Caves, Helen Porter, Julian Beere, Rachel I'Anson, Anna Alcock, Ellen Jones, Diana Furlong,Timothy Kraemer, Marie-Louise Plum, Anna Bissett, Maureen Morris, Lissa Chapman, Sue Higgins, Katja Rosenberg, Valeria Bateson. I have 2 paintings in the show. There is an even mix of sculpture, photography, printmaking and textile/ornament. It is a really nice show.
A Tribute to Motherhood by Julian Beere. Blanket knit from paper in a cardboard box with an accompanying edition of bookworks that document his series of talks about the sculpture figures on the back of the Waltham Forest Town Hall.
